Earlier this week, during his appearance on the “Joe Rogan Experience,” Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed the FBI approached him back in 2020, demanding he remove any misinformation tied to Hunter Biden’s laptop, way before NY Post published the story.
While it’s no surprise that Facebook has a Democratic bias, the very premise indicates Biden’s had ties in the FBI long before he was signed into office.
Zuckerberg reveals FBI approached him during Hunter Biden’s laptop investigation
Apparently, the FBI told some of Facebook’s team members that they should be on high alert, as a certain amount of “Russian propaganda” was on its way.
This was referencing the alleged Russian involvement in the 2016 election, despite the fact there’s clear evidence it was none other than Hillary herself “colluding” with the Russians.

However, Facebook tackles situations like these much differently from Twitter; the latter just prevents its users from sharing said content, whereas Facebook requires “misinformation” to be fact-checked by a third-party program.
It took well over five days for it to be determined whether the Hunter Biden laptop info was true or false, meaning the distribution of said content on the platform was certainly decreased; although one could still consume it.
This means the story was ranked lower on one’s newsfeed, in turn making it so fewer people saw the story than they would have otherwise, which is still a victory in Biden’s book.

It’s always the “Russians”
Zuckerberg continued, stating based on one’s political alignments, people either think Facebook censored the story way too much or didn’t censor it enough.
While social media platforms should stay neutral in situations like these, at least they handled it better than Twitter.
He also couldn’t remember the exact details of the story the FBI handed to them, but he does remember the story initially fitting into the pattern they came to warn him about.
The thing is though, there’s still information surfacing from the Hunter Biden laptop investigation. There are thousands of incriminating files on that laptop that could have Hunter locked up for good, but anything can be avoided if you’re the president’s son.

It remains unclear how much pull Biden exactly had on the FBI at the time, but Zuckerberg’s claims regarding the bureau’s visit to Facebook revealed he definitely had enough to turn the tide of the election.
The data from Hunter Biden’s laptop being revealed at such a crucial time would’ve crippled Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, with Trump powering through the rest of the election with the greatest of ease.
Despite what daddy did to save his a**, Hunter continues popping up on trending pages, with videos of him consuming illegal drugs surfacing every month or so.
