We all thought with Florida Gov. DeSantis cracking down on the liberals in Florida, we wouldn’t see any of their usual nonsense popping up any time soon, but it seems the Parental Rights in Education law wasn’t enough to stave them off.
Instead, this time, they’re focusing on minority groups, more specifically on the black population and the very much related African American Studies course.
African-American studies spark a battle between college board and the state of Florida
Last week on Saturday, the College Board issued a statement that would prolong their public spat with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, claiming the state’s Department of Education shed false criticism of the course, only to promote the governor’s political narrative.

The board claimed the department did everything in its power to “engineer” a win for DeSantis, including claiming credit for some of the changes made to the framework.
They added a letter by the Department of Education, which was originally sent to the board only hours before sending it in, in which the department was thanked for removing 19 topics from the education framework, none of which were ever mentioned previously.
DeSantis’ office has refused to comment on the situation and rightfully so, seeing as this is yet another way to force the leftist agenda into our schools, despite no one actually asking for it.
The course would only work if the left would actually agree not to smear our nation’s forefathers or promote division among children, but we all know that’s not happening any time soon.

DeSantis proves his worth
Despite all the hate he gets, DeSantis has shown to be one of the most effective governors the state of Florida has seen in recent history, completely outclassing his opponents during the midterm election season last year.
In fact, his work in the office turned the state from a commonly purple one into a deep red. With DeSantis gunning for the White House in 2024, we may just see him do the same on a national level.
Naturally, this would spell disaster for the left; it may be exactly why they’re trying to undermine him at every step, but he’s proven to be resilient enough to fight off anything they throw at him.
DeSantis’ unrelenting assault on the leftist agenda, paired with his care for traditional American values, made him a force to be reckoned with. Come the 2024 election season, he’s going to prove his worth.

In fact, it’s hard to say DeSantis needed a push from the Department of Education to begin with; his work alone was enough to gain support from the masses.
Some even consider him to be a worthy opponent to Donald Trump, whose 2024 campaign kicked off to a great start, but is now losing gas, due to an abundance of alternative candidates stepping up.
Nikki Haley, Mike Pompeo, and Ted Cruz are only some of the names on the list which goes on and will only increase as Trump’s support continues to dwindle.
With 2024 right around the corner, we’re highly likely to see DeSantis on the presidential ballot. If the Democrats put Biden in the ring with him, victory for DeSantis is all but secured.
